Things to do
In addition to wandering around and looking at things, and perhaps learning how to operate the vehicles, there are
other specific things to do. Skydiving, mining, and repairs to parts of the electrical grid when there are problems
are all examples of things to do.
Some places can be merely walked to, while others definately require a vehicle or other method to get there. I cant
really tell you these "other methods" without spoiling some surprises, so we'll leave it open that those
possibilities are in FluxWorld.
Mining pays decently, depending on what you mine and how much you can unload to the crusher for processing.
There are vast stores of metals and minerals, and you need a special type of container for ore transport.
Up in the Flux Bar, there is Juke box, a slot machine, and a roulette table, in addition to other things you'd find in a bar.
There is a chess set for two to play, and others can watch as well, choosing the viewing orientation: white, black,
right or left side.
There are some specific combat areas, for those that like fighting the creatures, and a few arms dealers,
to make that job a little easier. These types of areas are not highly developed here, but are here for completeness,
and for programming and combat practice. The whole RPG sub-section is a rather new addition.
The Power Generation area is comprised of many things. Types of power generation include nuclear, hydroelectric, solar
and SPS (Solar Power Satellites), so far. The Grid can be added to easily so expansion can include fusion, wind, or more
of the same types already in production.
The satellites can be navigated to, for repairs or just to visit. In fact, there is much more up in
space near Fluxworld than you might think.
