(Software and equipment used) Photo 3D
3D photography is an area I like to experiment in. Below are some examples of the things I have done that turned out fairly well.
From experience, I can also say what does NOT work so well. People or other living things are difficult, because the pictures are not taken simultaneously, rather, the camera sits on a special holder that allows the picture for the left eye to be taken, then slid over in a parallel manner, and the other picture taken. At best, this takes 2 seconds. It can take longer. If the images are not exactly the same height, they dont line up well, and the effect can be ruined. *use* a tripod!
